Masterclass with Susann McDonald

On April 12th the CCM Studio was treated to an absolute treat, Susann McDonald from Indiana University came to give a masterclass.  It was very refreshing to find out that not only is she incredibly nice but very down to earth as well for a person with her reputation.  Sitting in the masterclass I came to the realization that no matter your level of ability you leave feeling quite good about yourself after having an encounter with Miss McDonald.

One of the biggest points she kept driving home was being as musical as you can be and to really sing through your harp.  I don't hunk my playing was it's absolute best that afternoon but I received some very nice feedback from SMD as well as Lisa and Linda Wellbaum which was quite the compliment.

Overall I think everyone enjoyed themselves immensely and it proved to be a very positive experience for all involved.  Below are pictures from the masterclass.
